SITUATION
You are a resident of Taman Wawasan, Gombak. There are too many drug addicts loitering at your residential area. Write a letter to the Assistant Commissioner of Police at the Gombak Police Department and suggest the ways to overcome the problem.
Use the notes below:
  • ·         assign police patrol cars
  • ·         install surveillance cameras

·       Add one suggestion of your own.

Batu 10, Jalan Gombak,

Selangor Darul Ehsan.
_____________________________________________________________________________

Assistant Commissioner of Police,
Gombak Police Department,
Jalan Gombak,
68100, Batu Caves,
Selangor Darul Ehsan.                                                    6th July 2017

Sir,

DRUG ADDICTS LOITERING AT TAMAN WAWASAN, GOMBAK
I refer to the above stated matter which has been troubling the residents since a year ago.

2.       These drugs addicts can be seen wandering around in this residential area throughout the day and they loiter around a few public places at night such as near the mosque, school, park and market.

3.       We all know that they are dangerous to the residents especially to children.

4.       I would like to suggest that you assign a few police patrol cars to the area at all times. The sight of the police cars will scare off the addicts from this area.

5.       Another suggestion is to install surveillance cameras at strategic places in Taman Wawasan. This will deter the addicts from harming the residents if they know that they are being watched.

6.       My last suggestion is that you should add more street lights at some of the dark and quiet spots in this area especially along Jalan Wawasan 15/9 and 15/11. The area near Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Wawasan also needs more street lights as school children come to school very early in the morning.

I hope that you will consider my suggestion and improve the safety of Taman Wawasan immediately. Thank you.

Yours Sincerely,

(MUKMIN BIN ALI)
